Welcome to the Revealmore blog. I am Mark Deacon and having spent nearly 30 years in retail management and food manufacturing as a senior manager, I clearly understood my real purpose & passion, that of helping others understand who they are, how and why they do the things they do.
My real journey began when I completed an NLP practitioner training in 2004, like many who went before me and many who have do so since, it was a revelation that took me proabably another 4 years to fully appreciate and integrate my learning. In the mean time I continued to study gaining a coaching qualification, Level A&B psychometric qualifications. Since starting MD consulting and joining Reb Veale at Reveal Solutions Training Ltd I have been fortunate to work with many organisations both in the private and public sectors.
I believe that the saying ‘an organisations people are it’s biggest asset’ is regularly quoted, yet frequently placed behind measurable outputs, turnover, profit, market penetration etc. by many managers, not because they are bad people, but because that’s what organisations frequently measure. Understandably managers place their focus on what they are measured upon. Another of my beliefs is that through good leadership, our people will engage willingly, feel part of the organisation and in so doing so will gift the organisation additional discretionary effort that leads to the organisation being in peak flow continuously.
In order for us to be good leaders we must first develop ourselves, to do this we must first raise our own self awareness. My goal therefore is make personal development training & related training products as accessible as possible. Our range or accredited NLP trainings are available both through our public courses, run in Spring and Autumn each year at our training rooms in Gloucester and also by arrangement, in house at your business (min 10 delegates). We also offer a range of other services all of which can be found on our website www.revealsolutions.co.uk
However you have come to the blog please leave feedback. I always like a good discussion and appreciate that there are always interesting and important stories, information etc. that I will learn from.
Thanks
Mark
